ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Ouachita Tigers Men's Swim and Dive team fell in their opening weekend against Loyola (LA) at Sturgis Physical Education Center.
The final of the meet was 155-100 as the Tigers secured three first places along with many second place finishes. In the first race of the day the team of
Jacob Ragsdell,
Mitchell Lee,
Trent Reeder and
Joe Ragsdell secured a second place finish in the 200 yard medley relay.
Trayton Armstrong took home a first place finish in the 1,000 yard free for the Tigers as
Cody Kehmeier places second.
Joe Ragsdell also captured a first place finish with a 1:50.42 finish in the 200 yard free.
In the 200 yard butterfly,
Sebastian Bustillo finished with a time of 2:04.51 good enough for first place while
Trent Reeder finished close behind in second place for the Tigers.
Joe Ragsdell continued his great day finishing second in the 100 yard free while
Mitchell Lee picked up a second place in the 200 yard backstroke.
Armstrong and Reeder finished second and third for the Tigers in the 500 yard free. Bustillo grabbed second in the 100 yard butterfly for Ouachita with a time of 53.58. The Tigers finished the day securing a second place finish in the 200 free relay.
Ouachita will be back at Sturgis Physical Education Center on Oct. 5 at 9:00 a.m. for the Alumni Meet and Tailgate.
