TIGERS WRAP UP 2021 AT MIDWEST CLASSIC

INDIANPOLIS, Indiana – The Ouachita Baptist University wrestling team closed out the 2021 portion of this season's schedule on Saturday at the 42nd Annual Midwest Classic.

The Tigers competed against many of the top wrestlers from across the region and the nation.

Johnny Green led Ouachita with a 2-2 record in the 285 bracket. William Martin (184) and Adrian Salazar-Rivera (174) both picked up one win in their respective brackets.

Other Tigers that competed, but went 0-2 in their respective brackets included Noah Yeamans (125), Cole McCartney (133), Zander Fields (141), Jaylon Otero (149), Jackson Carter (157), Brady Marple (165), and Brooks Schrimsher (197).

Ouachita resumes the 2021-22 schedule at the MIAA/GLVC Duals on January 9.
