SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – The Ouachita Baptist University wrestling team was back in action on Saturday at the Drury University Open. Johnny Green, William Martin, and Jackson Carter all posted top three performance to highlight the event for the Tigers.

125 Bracket

• Noah Yeamans went 1-2.

133 Bracket

• Cole McCartney finished sixth in the bracket, finishing 2-3.
• Evan Kennedy was the runner-up of the consolation bracket, and finished with a total record of 4-2.

141 Bracket

• Hudson Herring went 0-2.

149 Bracket

• Jaylon Otero was the champion of the consolation bracket, and finished the event with a 4-1 record.
• Wyatt Compton went 2-2.
• Marcel Molu went 0-2.

157 Bracket

• Jackson Carter made it to the semifinals of the championship bracket, and ended up in third place with a 4-1 record.
• Carter Bierbaum went 0-2.

165 Bracket

• Brady Marple went 2-2.
• Jake Sheehy went 0-2.

174 Bracket

• William Martin finished third in the bracket with a 4-1 record.
• Adrian Salazar-Rivera made it to the semifinals of the championship bracket and finished fourth overall with a 3-2 record.
• Terrence Murray went 0-2.

• Trace Morrow went 0-2.

197 Bracket

• Brooks Schrimsher was the champion of the consolation bracket, finishing the event with a record of 4-1.
• Ryan Cochran went 2-2.
• Preston Fisher went 1-2.

285 Bracket

• Johnny Green was the runner-up of the championships bracket with a record of 3-1. He had two wins by fall and one by a 9-3 decision.
• Chandler Cooley went 0-2.
• Donald Paul went 0-2.

The Tigers are back in action on Wednesday, December 8 at home in a dual against the University of Ozarks.
