Ouachita Baptist men's tennis fell 4-1 to Southeastern Oklahoma State on Friday at Ward Tennis Center.
Tobias Fuerschuss picked up the lone singles win for the Tigers.Â
Fuerschuss defeated Gen Naraya 6-3, 6-3 at No. 4 singles. The Bregenz, Austria, native improved his season record to 9-6 in singles, snapping a two-match losing streak with the straight-sets victory.
All three of the Tigers' singles losses came in three sets. On Court 1, No. 10
Francisco Oliveira battled No. 15 Juan Scopetta in a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 Scopetta victory.
Santiago Kearney fell 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 to No. 45 Guiherme dos Santos on Court 2. Freshman
Alex Blanchar's winning streak came to a halt in a hard-fought 7-6, 6-7, 6-4 loss to Manuel Pilotto on Court 3.Â
Ouachita is back in action Saturday against Oklahoma Baptist at 9 a.m. The Tigers will honor seniors
