Ouachita Baptist women's basketball has hired Kayla Tucker as its assistant coach, head coach Robert Dallimore announced.
 
"Kayla is one of the rising young coaches in our profession, and we are thrilled for her to join our family," Dallimore said. "She is passionate about not only mentoring our young ladies off the court, but also in skill development on the court. Kayla will be a great role model for our team, because she was an excellent student at Alabama State, as well as the captain of two conference championship teams and participated in the 2015 and 2016 NCAA Tournaments." 
 
Prior to her time at Ouachita, Coach Tucker worked as an assistant for the Texas Tech women's basketball program.
