CLARKSVILLE, ARKANSAS – Ouachita Women's Cross Country dominated the University of the Ozarks Invitational, winning by 27 points despite their top runners not competing.
Abby McElhaney was the Tigers' top runner, coming in second place with a time of 20:08.0.
Next for the Tigers was
Becca Beard coming in third with a time of 20:10.3. Followed by
Emily Payne in fourth (20:18.7),
Melina West in seventh (20:25.8),
Hannah Bailey in ninth (20:30.6),
Addison Southerland in tenth (20:37.1), and
Megan Monk (20:44.2) in eleventh to round out the scorers for Ouachita.
Ouachita came in first place with 23 points. John Brown University was second with 50 points. TAMU-Texarkana took third with 86 points followed by Philander Smith, Lyon College, University of the Ozarks, and Arkansas-Monticello finishing fourth through seventh respectively.
