SHAWNEE, Oklahoma – Ouachita Women's Cross Country earned their first-ever Great American Conference Championship, coming in first overall by 14 points.
The top runner for Ouachita was
Taylor Koeth, taking third place with a time of 18:20.5.
The next Tigers to cross the finish line were
Jaci McGregor, coming in sixth place with a time of 18:43.2. She was followed by
Katelynn Nachtigal in 10
th (18:56.7),
Macie Cash in 11
th (18:56.7) and
Mackenzie Davis in 12
th (19:03.9) to round out the Tigers in the top 15.
With their Top 20 finishes, five Tigers earned All-GAC honors: Koeth and McGregor made First Team All-GAC; Nachtigal, Cash and Davis made Second Team All-GAC.

Head Coach
Steve Guymon was named the 2022 GAC Coach of the Year for his leadership of this squad. This marks his first Coach of the Year honor while at Ouachita.
Ouachita took first place with 42 points. Arkansas Tech was next with 56, third place was Oklahoma Baptist with 87, and in fourth was Harding with 97 points.
