ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University women's tennis team has been selected by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as an NCAA Division II All-Academic Team.

The ITA awards all teams with at least a 3.2 combined grade point average for the season. Additionally, the ITA released its list D2 scholar athletes with five Tigers making the cut, having at least a 3.5 GPA for the year.

The five from Ouachita to be honored include Makeilah Turner, Clarisa Valenzuela, Carla Gallart, Austynn Crocker, and Ali May. This is second straight year to earn the honor for Turner, Gallart, and Crocker.
