ARKADELPHIA – The 13th-ranked Ouachita Baptist University men's tennis team responded from its loss on Friday by beating Mississippi College on Saturday at home by a final score of 4-2.
NCAA championship scoring was in effect with the first team to four points taking the win. Ouachita (3-1) secured that fourth point in sixth position singles with a win from
Ramon Strassmann.
After earning the doubles point with wins in second and third position, the Tigers also earned singles wins in first position singles in
Alex Blanchar and second position singles with
Fernando Docters, in addition to Strassman's clincher.
Ouachita closes out its three-match weekend on Sunday at home against UT-Tyler starting at noon.
