ARKADELPHIA – The 14th-ranked Ouachita Baptist University men's tennis team earned a 5-2 win on Saturday at home over Southwest Baptist University.
After losing all three doubles matchups, the Tigers (2-0) responded in singles with three wins in the first three positions and the match winner in sixth position with Ramon Strassman taking down SBU's Ilyes Khelifi by a pair of 6-2 scores.
Aaron Osmond added an extra win in fifth position to finalize the scoring.
Phil Exner,
Alex Blanchar, and
Fernando Docters also earned singles wins against the Bearcats (0-1).
Ouachita is back in action the weekend of February 17-19 at home.
