CLINTON, Mississippi – The Ouachita men's tennis evened up the season series against Mississippi College with a 4-1 victory over the Choctaws on Friday.
The 20th-ranked Tigers started by earning the doubles point with victories in first and second positions, respectively, and the earned win in each of the first three matchups in singles.
Both of Ouachita's doubles victories were hard-fought with a 7-5 win in first position from Alex Blanchar and Phil Exner and a 6-4 win by Fernando Docters and Ramon Strassmann. In singles, Blanchar, Exner, and Fernando Docters all won in straight sets, including the match clincher by Docters.
