ARKADELPHIA – Ouachita first-year men's soccer coach
Wes Holifield has announced his team's schedule for the upcoming 2024 season.
The 2024 campaign features two friendlies, 18 regular season games, and 10 home games to be played at Kluck Field.
It all starts August 24 with a friendly on the road against the University of the Ozarks and then another exhibition matchup the next Saturday, August 31 at home against Delta State.
The first regular season match is set for Thursday, September 5 at home against Christian Brothers, giving fans a chance to watch the soccer team, and then walk over to Cliff Harris Stadium for the football team's season opener that night at 7 p.m.
Other home games include Union on September 7, Austin College on September 18, Southern Nazarene on October 5, Fort Hays State on October 10, Newman on October 12, Harding on October 17, Northeastern State on October 19, and Rogers State on November 9.
The Tigers will once again compete in the combined conference featuring teams from the Great American Conference and the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association. The league's championship tournament is set for November 15 & 17 hosted by the regular season champion.
