ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita men's soccer team limited Union in scoring chances, but the Bulldogs capitalized for a 3-0 win over the Tigers on Saturday at Kluck Field.
The Bulldogs (2-0) scored their three goals on only five shots on goal, eight shots overall. Union found the net first in the 13th minute and then added second-half goals in the 58th and 64th minutes, respectively, for insurance.
Ouachita (0-2) totaled seven shots in the game, including three on frame. The Tigers edged the Bulldogs in corners at 6-4.
Nathan Frost led the Tigers with two shots.
Alexis Murillo,
Cameron Garcia, and Imanol Barragán all had one shot on goal.
The Tigers are on the road next week, heading to Lyon College on Wednesday and then to Centenary on Sunday.
