ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's basketball team is a little more than a month away from beginning the 2025-26 season.

Under first-year head coach Nick Long, the Tigers open up with an exhibition games at Grambling State (November 9) and at home against Champion Christian (November 14). The official season opener is set for November 18 on the road against Northeastern State.

Other non-conference games for the Tigers include matchups with Mississippi College, Missouri Western State, and UA-Fort Smith.

Counting the exhibition against Champion Christian, the Tigers will be at home 14 times this season, including five Saturday afternoon games inside Bill Vining Arena.

The 22-game Great American Conference slate begins December 4. The 2026 GAC Championship Tournament will be held March 5-8 in Fort Smith.
