CLEVELAND, Mississippi – The Ouachita baseball team had its five-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday in an 11-0 non-conference road loss to 23rd-ranked Delta State.
The Statesmen pitching staff held the Tigers to just three hits and three scoring opportunities throughout the game.
Ouachita's hits – all singles – came from Isaac Nowell, Cole Bedwell, and Jaxson Jester.
The Tigers are back in action this weekend at home against 24th-ranked Harding for a three-game Great American Conference series featuring a single game on Friday, February 28 at 2 p.m. and a double header on Saturday starting at noon.
