MANHEIM, Pennsylvania – The Ouachita wrestling team heads into the 2025 postseason this Saturday with two of its top wrestlers included in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association national rankings.
Jimmy Anderson, who has been nationally-ranked all season in the 133 class, is No. 5 in the latest poll. The junior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is 18-4 overall this season and 11-3 against NCAA Division II opponents.
Jaylon Otero is No. 11 this week in the 157 class. The graduate student from Tulsa, Oklahoma is 15-6 overall this year and 8-5 against D2 opponents.
The Tiger wrestlers head to Warrensburg, Missouri this Saturday, March 1 to compete in the super regional tournament. The top three finishers this Saturday in each weight class qualify for the NCAA D2 Wrestling Championships to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana March 14-15.
