WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Ouachita men's tennis team carried its momentum from Tuesday's win over Cameron into Wednesday for a 7-0 win over Texas-Dallas.
The Tigers started with doubles wins on courts one and three to take a 1-0 lead into singles. Phil Exner and Ramon Strassmann, ranked sixth in the nation in doubles, beat their No. 1 counterparts 6-3. Aaron Osmond and Yarin Aebi also won 6-3.
In singles, Ouachita earned wins on all six courts, all in two sets. Moritz Buss and Tinus Mueller each avoided a tiebreaker set on their respective courts with extra point wins in the second set.
Next up for the Tigers is a home match against 12th-ranked UT-Tyler this Friday at noon.
