SEARCY, Arkansas – The Ouachita men's track and field team tallied two event wins at the Harding Invitational and Multi this weekend on the road.
 
No team scores were kept between the two meets hosted by Harding University. Ouachita competed well against GAC members in Harding and Southeastern Oklahoma State, fellow DII members Lane College and Cameron and other programs ranging from DIII, NAIA, and Junior Colleges.
 
The Tigers swept the 800m podium with Dylan Dew winning the race with a time of 1:55.04, Xander Naegle taking second (1:56.95), and Keagan Pointer placing third (1:57.39).
 
Ouachita also went 1-2 in the 400m Hurdles as Aden Hecht won the event with a time of 54.31 and Caden Callahan took second with a time of 56.26. Landon Proctor also placed in the top 10, coming in at seventh with a time of 1:02.57.
 
Callahan added a third-place finish in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 15.27, less than a second out of first place and Hecht finished in fifth in the event with a time of 15.70.
 
Isaac Champman came in second place in the Decathlon with a score of 5705 points, with MJ Ryman taking fourth in the event with 4847 points.
 
Bryaden James placed fourth in the 3000m Steeplechase (10:26.34) and was followed by Brooks Johnson in fifth (10:43.49).
 
Dhakivion Seals placed sixth in the 400m with a time of 50.14, less than two seconds out of first place, and finished ninth in the 200m with a time of 22.83.
 
Miller Goff took eighth in the 100m Dash with a time of 11.23, 0.32 seconds out of first.
 
Jones White finished ninth in the 400m with a time of 51.55.
 
Zach Lane placed tenth in the long jump with a distance of 6.00m (19' 8.25").
 
The Tigers will be back in action next week when they compete in the Rhodes College Invitational on March 14-15 in Memphis, Tennessee.
