NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Ouachita men's track & field team posted 12 top 10 finishes at Stephen F. Austin's Carl Kight Invitational over the weekend.
 
No team scores were kept, but the Tigers competed well against competition from Division I and Division II, and NAIA. 11 Tigers recorded personal bests over the course of the three-day meet.
 
Aden Hecht placed fourth in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 54.07.
 
Josh Tibbs took fourth in he 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 9:33.19.
 
Caden Callahan finished fifth in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 14.61, less than half of a second out of second place. Callahan also placed fifth in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 54.44.
 
Isaac Chapman placed fifth in the Decathlon with a score of 5947 points. MJ Ryman finished tenth in the event with 4880 points.
 
Russell Hensley finished seventh in the Javelin Throw with a distance of 47.39m (155' 6").
 
Gabriel Greenwich placed eighth in the 5000m with a time of 15:51.52, followed by Tate Stacks in ninth with a time of 14:58.31.
 
Xander Naegle finished eighth in the 800m with a time of 1:54.94.
 
The 4x400m Relay squad of Baden Brink, Hecht, Marcus McGahee, and Dylan Dew placed seventh with a time of 3:23.76.
 
The 4x100m Relay squad of Callahan, Brink, Hecht, and Miller Goff placed tenth with a time of 43.07.
 
Next up, the Tigers will split up. One group will make the trip out to Azusa, California to take part in the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific on April 16-19, and another group will head to Magnolia, Arkansas to compete in the Dan Veach Invitational hosted by Southern Arkansas University on April 18-19.
