SHAWNEE, Oklahoma – The Ouachita men's track & field team finished sixth at the 2025 Great American Conference Championships after three days of competition.
 
The men scored 62 points at this year's outdoor GAC Championships, placing sixth overall.
 
Top Three Finishers:
 
Dylan Dew was the runner-up in the 1500m with a time of 4:00.23, less than a second out of first. Dew also finished eighth in the 800m with a time of 1:58.56
 
Aden Hecht took second in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 54.52, less than two seconds out of first place. Hecht also placed sixth in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 15.47.
 
Gabriel Greenwich took third in the 3000m Steeplechase with a school record time of 9:21.22, less than 10 seconds out of first place.
 
Podium Finishers:
 
Caden Callahan took fourth in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 14.91, 0.36 seconds out of first place. Callahan also placed eighth In the 400m Hurdles with a time of 58.49.
 
Isaac Chapman placed fourth in the Decathlon with a score of 5798 points.
 
Ethan Kailey took fourth in the 1500m with a time of 4:01.71, less than 0.5 seconds out of third.
 
Jaelen Becho took fifth in the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 9:26.68. Becho also placed seventh in the 5000m (15:09.05).
 
Keagan Pointer took sixth in the 800m with a time of 1:55.90, roughly two seconds out of first place.
 
Josh Tibbs finished seventh in the 1500m with a time of 4:02.69.
 
MJ Ryman finished eighth in the Decathlon with a score of 5103 points.
 
Tate Stacks placed eighth in the 10,000m with a time of 31:51.97.
 
The 4x100m Relay squad of Marcus McGahee, Hecht, Baden Brink, and Callahan placed fifth with a time of 43.15, less than three seconds out of first.
 
The 4x400m Relay squad of Callahan, Jones White, Xander Naegle, and Pointer finished sixth in with a time of 3:26.67.
 
The Tigers wrap up a successful outdoor season at the GAC Championships. Ouachita posted numerous top finishes against highly ranked programs over the course of the spring.
