RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – After posting one of the best individual performances in school and league history, Ouachita women's basketball senior Heidi Robinson has been selected as the Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

The senior from Marmaduke, Arkansas was lights out in last Thursday's 89-56 blackout victory at home over cross-street rival Henderson State. She finished 15-for-26 from the field, 9-for-16 on three-pointers, and 9-for-10 on foul shots for a final total of 48 points to tie the GAC women's basketball single-game scoring record and set a new school record for the NCAA era.

Robinson started the game with 21 of Ouachita's 26 point in the first period to set the pace for what ended up being a career night. She finished eight points shy of outscoring the Reddies as a team.

While Robinson was sinking shots, the Tiger defense was turning in one of its best games of the season, holding the Reddies to sub 30 percent shooting overall. It was the second lowest point total allowed by the Tigers this season.

Robinson and the Tigers (10-5, 7-4 GAC) are set to start round two of GAC games this weekend with a trip to Durant, Oklahoma on Thursday to take on Southeastern Oklahoma State and then to Ada on Saturday to face East Central. The Tigers beat both of those teams at home in December.
