O'FALLON, Illinois – The Ouachita men's tennis team stayed undefeated to start the 2026 spring season with a 4-3 road win over McKendree on Saturday night.
The Tigers (4-0) started Saturday's match with doubles win at No. 2 from the 17th-ranked tandem of
Moritz Buss and
Aaron Osmond and at No. 3 from
Tinus Mueller and
Maximilian Brenner.
Ramon Strassmann and
Yarin Aebi kept it close at No. 1, but ultimately fell 7-6.
Both Strassmann and Aebi bounced back in singles with straight set wins at No. 1 and No.2.
Aaron Osmond helped the Tigers get that winning fourth point with a two-set victory at No. 4 singles.
Ouachita puts its undefeated mark back to the test this Tuesday at home against Collin College, which is the sixth-ranked team at the NJCAA level.
