ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita men's tennis team kept its season-opening winning streak alive with a 5-2 victory over Northwest Missouri State on Saturday afternoon at home.
All three doubles courts resulted in close battles with the Tigers taking courts two of three. The 17th-ranked duo of
Aaron Osmond and
Moritz Buss stayed unbeaten this season with a 6-4 win on court two.
Tinus Mueller and
Guillaume Randoux needed an extra game to earn a 7-5 win on three.
Ramon Strassmann started singles with a convincing win on court one by scores of 6-1 and 6-2. Buss and Randoux picked up two-set wins on courts three and five to clinch the match win. Mueller came from behind to win in three sets on court six for Ouachita's final point.
The Tigers are back in action on Monday, March 2 at home against Mississippi College.
