TECH'S EARLY LEAD HOLDS IN GAME ONE

RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – The Ouachita and Arkansas Tech baseball teams met at Baswell Field on Friday to open a three-game Great American Conference series with the Wonder Boys taking game one by a final score of 5-2.

After a 90-minute weather delay, Tech scored three in the first inning to take an early lead and added one with since runs in the second and fourth innings. }

Ouachita dropped into the scoring with with RBI doubles from Cole Bedwell and Reece McWilliams in the top of the sixth inning. Jaren Ceaser and Bedwell each had two hits in the game. 

Games two and three of the series will be played as a double header on Saturday starting at 1 p.m.
