ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita baseball team wrapped up the home portion of its 2026 schedule on Saturday with a 3-0 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State.
Prior to Saturday's game, the Tigers honored their seven seniors –
Austin Bagnall,
Cole Bedwell,
Reece McWilliams,
Chase Oberle,
Braden Tucker,
Austin Ford, and
Garrett Graham.
SWOSU pitcher Jared Adams kept the Tigers off balance for the first seven innings, while Bulldog relievers Kaegan Baker and Conner Watson kept the Tigers off the board for the combined shutout.
Ouachita was limited to five hits in the game, one each from Graham, Bedwell,
Ashton Ybarra,
Joseph Bolin, and
Raygan Yager.
The Tigers are on the road this Tuesday for a non-conference game against Arkansas-Monticello before making the trek to Alva, Oklahoma next weekend to take on Northwestern Oklahoma State in a three-game GAC series.
