Caleb Greenwich earned Great American Conference Runner of the Week honors.
Holden, a native of Houston, Texas, set a new personal record in a 5K with a time of 18:25 to pace the Tigers to a first place finish at the Bob Gravett Invitational over the weekend. The Tigers had seven of the top eight finishers in the 5K race and tallied a team score of 16, which was 55 points ahead of second-place Henderson State.
Greenwich, of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, also led the Tigers to a first place finish at the Bob Gravett Invitational with a 5K time of 15:16.6. The Tigers placed seven of the top eight runners and finished the 5K race with a score of 17, which was 34 points ahead of second-place Southern Arkansas.
Men's and women's cross country are back in action next Friday, September 18 at the Lois Davis Invitational hosted by Southern Arkansas.
