RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas - Sophomore defender
Bri Lilly for Ouachita women's soccer earned Great American Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors, announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
The Tigers picked up their first two positive results of the season, a 0-0 draw against Missouri Southern and 2-2 draw against Rogers State, last week. Lilly totaled 170 minutes on the pitch, anchoring the Tiger backline against Missouri Southern without allowing a goal.
This honor marks the first for the Weatherford, Texas native.
After a four-game road stretch, Ouachita returns home on Friday, Sept. 11 for a match against Washburn. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. at Kluck Field.
