Men's Tennis Falls to Central Oklahoma

ARKADELPHIA, Ark.- After recording victories in their first two matches of the weekend, the Tigers tennis team was handed their first loss of the dual season by NAIA opponent Oklahoma Christian. The TIgers were only able to record one victory in the nine match-ups that were played, coming in singles play by Marko Boskovic. Ouachita eventually fell by a final score of 8-1 to OCU,

Ouachita only won two sets in the game, both coming in Boskovic's singles victory over Bruno Tiberti, ranked No. 2 in NAIA men's tennis. Ouachita was beaten in straight sets from then on, as Oklahoma Christian took victories in the last eight matches of the day.

The No. 2 singles match was the most competitive match of the day besides the singles No. 1 match between Boskovic and Tiberti. Boskovic and Kenny Brasil pushed OCU's Tiberti and Martin Poboril to the limit before the Eagles prevailed by a score of 8-6.

Ouachita returns to action on February 24, when they travel to Bolivar, Missouri for a contest against Northwestern Missouri.
