Tigers Drop 5-0 Contest to Incarnate Word

DALLAS, Tex.- The Ouachita men's soccer (4-6) continued their string of road games on Friday, as they traveled to Dallas for a neutral site contest against Incarnate Word (7-2). Ouachita was on the defensive all game, as Incarnate Word ended up taking 33 shots in the game, 14 of which were on goal. The Tigers were stumped by the opposition's attack and ended up suffering a 5-0 loss.

Ouachita hung tough in the first half, trailing 1-0 at halftime. The second half was a much different story though, as they struggled to stop Incarnate Word and gave up four more goals.

Ouachita recorded eight shots in the game, five of which were on goal. Rizvan Ceka attempted three shots in the game, two of which were on goal. AJ Bauckman had two shots in the game, both of which were on goal.

Wayne Smith and David Henley both saw time in the net for the Tigers, as they both finished the game with four saves.

Ouachita will close out their road swing on Tuesday, October 2, when they travel to Conway for a match-up against the Warriors of Hendrix College. That game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
