ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - David Carbo, son of Bob and Donna Carbo of Grapevine,Texas, has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Ouachita men's tennis team. David will be a pre-med major, beginning in the fall of 2015. 
 
Carbo ranked anywhere between the top 30-40 in Texas USTA in age groups 12-under, 14-under, 16-under, and 18-under. He currently ranks 35th. He boarded and trained at the John Newcombe Tennis Academy in New Braunfels, Texas and most recently excelled at the TBarM Tennis Academy, a full-time academy in Dallas. 
 
"David is an outstanding tennis player and student. I think Ouachita is a great fit academically, educationally, and spiritually for him", said Ouachita Tigers men's tennis coach Craig Ward. "I am very excited about being his coach."
