ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The 2015 Great American Conference champion Ouachita Tigers men's soccer team announced their 2016 signing class. The Tigers signed four players who will join the team this fall. Hector Duron, Jakob Cuellar, Noa Cuellar and Abraham Lazo will add depth and talent to a roster that lost only one senior at the end of last season. 2015 Coach of the Year Wilson Jones expressed excitement about the versatility that this class will add to the roster.

"Our coaching staff is very excited about our 2016 signing class," coach Jones said. "All four of these guys bring something different to the team. Noa is a versatile central midfielder who might also see some time in the back.  His twin brother, Jakob, we recruited primarily as a defender.  He can play both centrally and as an outside back for us and may even see some time as in a holding midfield role."

Coach Jones added, "Hector has a great left foot, good size and vision for the game.  He will fill the need for a left back for us. Abraham is definitely more attack minded looking to see some time out wide or as an attacking midfielder for us."

Duron played alongside Jakob and Noa Cuellar at Frisco Wakeland High School in Frisco, Texas. Abraham played at Irving MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas. Coach Jones talked about the familiarity between the four players.

"This class is unique due to the fact that Noa, Jakob and Hector all play for the same high school team and Abraham played on FC Dallas Premier with Noa and Jakob," coach Jones said. "Most importantly, these are young men of high character that will be great additions to the Men's Soccer program and the University for the next 4 years. We look forward to having them."
