PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Tigers Swim and Dive teams have a great showing against the University of West Florida.
Freshman
Sydney Parker shined as she won the 200 yard freestyle by .01 seconds in the 54-145 loss to West Florida. She also was the third leg of the 200 yard freestyle relay which came in second. The other three members of that relay were
Lilia Clark, Anastasiia Ulianova and
Alyssa Reece.
Freshman
Lilia Clark continued her tear during her inaugural season. She put in two second place finishes in Pensacola. She first put in a good showing in the 200 yard IM and then finished strong with the 500 yard freestyle. The 500 yard freestyle also had sophomore
Camilla Howarth finished in third.
The freshman on the team showed out as
Elysian Majeske also put in a third place finish in the 100 yard butterfly.
The Men's Swim and Dive team also got to have a practice meet in preparation for the NSISC Championships.
The Women return to action on Jan 25 and 26 to face Little Rock and Henderson State. The men will also face off on Jan 25 against Henderson State.
