EVANSVILLE, Indiana – Ouachita junior
Anna Phelps has earned All-America honors in back-to-back seasons after her performance in the 200 butterfly on Friday at the 2026 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships.
Phelps finished 12th in the preliminaries on Friday morning with a time of 2:03.06, which punched her ticket to the consolation final and assured her the title of All-American for the second straight year in the event.
In the consolation finals, she posted a time of 2:03.38, which was fifth in the race and gives her a 13th place finish overall and four points for Ouachita in the event.
Friday's action concludes Phelps' participation in this year's national championships. The Tigersharks will be represented on Saturday by
Stefan Duca in the 200 backstroke as well as the men's 400 freestyle relay team that consists of Duca,
Ian Redman Aguilar,
Sam Ragsdell, and
James Savarese.
