ARKADELPHIA – Ouachita Baptist University is set to host a cross country meet for a second time this season.

On Friday, October 1, the Tiger Invitational will feature cross country teams from Ouachita, Henderson State University, Arkansas Tech University, John Brown University, the University of Arkansas at Monticello, Bossier Parish Community College, Jacksonville College, Lemoyne-Owen College, National Park College, the University of the Ozarks, Southwestern Assemblies of God University, and Wiley College.

Both Ouachita teams have performed well early in the season. The women's team won both the Bob Gravett Invitational here at Ouachita and the Steve Guymon Invitational at Harding. The men's team came in second at both events.

The women's race (5K) will begin at 4 p.m. The men's race (8K) will start at 4:30 p.m. Both races will begin and end on the recreational sports fields. Results will be available at macdonaldtiming.com and posted to OBUtigers.com.
