ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University men's tennis team looks to continue its winning ways this spring with the 2023 portion of this season's schedule starting February 4.

The Tigers open the spring at home February 4-5 against Delta State and Southwest Baptist for two of the team's nine home matches. The rest of the schedule features matches in Arkansas or contiguous states, with the exception of Spring Break week. The Tigers travel south that week to Pensacola, Florida to take on West Florida and Auburn-Montgomery.

The 2023 Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association/Great American Conference Championship Tournament is set for April 19-21 once again in Edmond, Oklahoma, where the Tigers captured the program's 23rd conference championship last season.

Ouachita had one of its most successful seasons ever in 2021-22, finishing the year with an 18-4 record, a conference championship, and an appearance at the NCAA Nationals Round of 16. Five players return from last year's team, led by Phil Exner, who is ranked 24th nationally in singles following fall competition, and his doubles teammate Alex Blanchar. The duo ranks 23rd nationally in doubles heading into the spring.
