AUSTIN, Texas – Ouachita men's tennis graduate
Ramon Strassmann has earned First Team Academic All-America honors from College Sports Communicators for the 2026 season.
Strassmann adds to his already lengthy list of academic and athletic awards for his collegiate career. The Mueselbach, Switzerland native recently graduated from Ouachita with a bachelor's degree in finance and business administration. He finished his undergraduate studies with a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade-point average.
Also among his awards for the 2025-26 season include being selected as the winner of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association "A Game" Scholar Athlete Award for the second straight season. He was also the winner of the 2026 MIAA/GAC Sportsmanship Award and earned second team All-MIAA/GAC honors in singles and doubles.
On the court, Strassmann was ranked nationally in singles for most of the 2025-26 season and finished the year 26-9 overall, including an 18-5 record in spring duals all at No. 1. In doubles, he finished the year 22-12, including an 18-6 record in spring duals at No. 1 with teammate
Yarin Aebi. He and Aebi finished the season ranked No. 17 nationally in doubles.
