TEXARKANA, Texas – The Ouachita Baptist University baseball team lost a non-conference road game on Wednesday night to Texas A&M-Texarkana by a final score of 13-12.
The Tigers (8-6) took an early lead with one run in the first and eight runs in the second, but the Eagles (11-9) slowly chipped away at the lead and put up crooked numbers in each of the last four innings to come-from-behind and get the win.
For the fifth straight game and seventh time overall, the Tigers reached double-digits in scoring and hits. In Wednesday's loss, the Tigers scored its 12 runs on 12 hits.
Jud Arrington led Ouachita's hitters with a 3-for-5 game.
Jaxon Chaney went 2-for-4.
Isaac Nowell went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Cade Burris went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles.
Ouachita is back in action this weekend on the road for a three-game Great American Conference series against Harding.
