ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University men's and women's track and field teams are set to open their season tomorrow, Saturday, March 11 as they travel to Conway, Arkansas to take part in the Hendrix Open.
The women are coming off a successful indoor season and are looking to carry that success over to the outdoor meets. There are several returners to this squad, including 2022 All-Great American Conference selections
Jaci McGregor,
Macie Cash,
Rebekah Wendt and
Mackenzie Davis.
The men will be competing in outdoor as an official team for the first time with this being their inaugural NCAA season.
On Thursday, March 9, 2023, the Great American Conference released the 2023 track and field preseason coaches' polls. The women's and men's teams were both picked fifth by the conferences' coaches in their respective polls.
