BELTON, Texas – The Ouachita Baptist University women's tennis team put the finishing touches on its spring break trip through Texas with an 8-1 win over the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Thursday.
The Tigers went 2-1 on the trip to carry momentum into a stretch of four straight Great American Conference games over the next three weeks.
Playing by NCAA Division III rules, all spots in the lineup recorded points with the Tigers coming away with all but one win, which was a close fifth position battle that needed a tiebreaker to decide a victor.
Ali May earned the clinching win with Ouachita's fifth point of the day coming in second position singles, edging out teammate
Keelan Williams' win in sixth position by just one minute.
