LIBERTY, Missouri – The ninth-ranked Ouachita Baptist University men's tennis team recovered nicely from its close loss on Sunday with a shutout win over William Jewell College on Monday by a final score of 7-0.
The Tigers swept through doubles with big wins in first and third positions and a hard-fought victory in second position. Five of the six singles matchups were decided in straight sets, while
Seth Hernandez rallied from losing the first set in sixth position to win back-to-back sets for his first victory of the spring season.
Ouachita wraps up its road trip with a match against Arkansas-Fort Smith on Tuesday.
