ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's basketball team has unveiled its 2023-24 schedule, which includes an ever-challenging Great American Conference slate of games and non-conference contests against two of the best teams in NCAA Division II.

The Tigers will play a total of 27 games in the regular season, which includes 15 games at home, 22 Great American Conference games, and one exhibition game.

Highlighting the non-conference portion of the schedule are home games against Mississippi College (November 15) and Pittsburg State (November 21), and a road game against UT-Tyler (November 25). Pitt State and UT-Tyler both made the NCAA tournament last season. UT-Tyler advanced all the way to the D2 Elite Eight and finished the season ranked 14th in the nation.

Like seasons past, the Tigers will play each GAC opponent twice during the regular season, once at home and once on the road. The top eight teams in the league qualify for the GAC Championship Tournament to be held March 7-10. Ouachita advanced to the semifinals of last year's conference tournament and returns all but one starter from that squad that finished 15-13 overall.

The 2023-24 season opener is set for Friday, November 10 at home against Champion Christian.
