RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – The Great American Conference/Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association released the 2024 men's soccer all-conference teams and yearly award winners on Wednesday with Ouachita's
Kristian Baker and
Dillon Staal both making the list on the honorable mention team.
Baker, a junior from Little Rock, started in 17 games on the back line this season and finished third on the team with 1,523 minutes played. He played the full 90 minutes in 15 games this year. This Baker's first all-conference honor. He was named the league's defender of the week in September following a 1-0 win over Austin College.
Staal, a junior from Gonzales, Louisiana, played in 17 games and started 16 at goalkeeper this season for the Tigers. He logged 1,419 minutes in between the posts and finished the with three wins and four shutouts. He was second in the GAC/MIAA in total saves with 100 and led the league in saves per game with an average of 6.25. Along with Baker, Staal earned GAC/MIAA goalkeeper of the week honors following the shutout over Austin College.
The league also announced its academic honor roll for the 2024 season with six Tigers making the list with at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA in at least their sophomore year. The six Tiger honorees are

Eli Stuart, and
Tavin Wright.
