INDOOR TRACK SET TO OPEN SEASON IN KANSAS

ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's indoor track and field team is set to open up the 2024-25 season this weekend at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas.
 
Ouachita will be competing in the Boo Rogers Combined events on Friday and the Crimson & Gold Invitational on Saturday, both at Pitt State.
 
The Tigers boast numerous returners from last year's squad, highlighted by 17 Outdoor All-GAC performers.
 
This marks one of three trips to Pittsburg, Kansas for the Tigers this season. Ouachita will also compete at the Pitt State Invitational on Saturday, February 1 and the PSU Gorilla Classic on February 14-15.
 
The one other regular season indoor meet will see Ouachita head to Music City to compete in the Vanderbilt Invitational on January 17-18 at Division I Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
 
The Tigers are coming off a third-place finish at the 2024 GAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the highest in team history, and will look to keep up that success.
 
After the final regular season meet, qualifying Tigers will head to Indianapolis, Indiana to compete in the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships.
