ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita baseball played its final non-conference game of the regular season on Tuesday at home resulting in a 12-4 loss to Harding at Rab Rodgers Field.
After falling behind 3-0 in the first inning, the Tigers (26-19) rallied to tie the game on a pair of home runs, the first on a two-run shot from
Tallon Heine in the third inning and then a solo home run from
Collin Liles in the fourth inning.
Harding (31-14) regained the lead with a solo home run of its own in the top of the fifth inning, and then went up 7-3 with three runs in the eighth.
After Ouachita scored one in the eighth on an RBI single from
Isaac Nowell, the Bisons put an exclamation mark on the game with five runs in the ninth.
Both teams ended up with 12 hits in the game, marking Ouachita's 23rd game this year with at least 10. Heine led the team with three hits.

The Tigers wrap up the regular season this weekend across the street in a three-game Great American Conference series against Henderson State.
