KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Ouachita junior midfielder Madi Vana was selected to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women's All-Central Region Second Team. 

Vana collects her second regional recognition to add to an impressive list of accolades after being named the Great American Conference Midfielder of the Year in November. The Celina, Texas native engineered the Tigers late-season surge with clutch play, scoring four goals across a five-game stretch to help send the Tigers to their third consecutive GAC championship match. 

Vana poured in 15 points for the Tigers this season, which ranked tied for fifth in the GAC. She finished her junior campaign as Ouachita's leading scorer with seven goals, including four game-winners, which were both tied for the second-most in the GAC. Vana also earned a spot on the D2CCA All-Central Region Second Team and the Academic All-District Team to further highlight her phenomenal junior season.
