ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita baseball team dropped its midweek game to Mississippi College at home on Tuesday by a final score of 10-0.
After two innings of zeros, the Choctaws broke through for seven runs on eight hits in the top of the third inning and added another two runs in the top of the fourth one in the seventh.
Ouachita's best scoring opportunity came in the fourth, loading the bases, only to have the rally ome up empty when Wesley Scott's single hit a Tiger baserunner.
Scott accounted for two of Ouachita's five hits in the game. Isaac Nowell and Joseph Bolin each doubled.
The Tigers are back in action this weekend on the road in a three-game Great American Conference series against Southern Nazarene.
