CHARLESTON, South Carolina – The Ouachita men's tennis team began its stay in South Carolina with a 7-0 victory over The Citadel on Wednesday.
The Tigers started with a pair of convincing victories in doubles including fifth-ranked Phil Exner and Ramon Strassmann winning on court one and Yarin Aebi and Aaron Osmond winning on court three.
Ouachita then earned four two-set wins in singles with Elias Lagger and Moritz Buss rallying back from losing their first sets to win in a tiebreaker at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.
The Tigers take on another NCAA Division I opponent on Thursday, heading to Spartanburg, South Carolina to face Wofford.
