PUEBLO, Colorado – Ouachita women's track & field national qualifier
Katelynn Nachtigal closed out her trip to the 2025 Division II Outdoor National Championships in the prelims of the 3000m Steeplechase.
Nachtigal placed 12
th in her heat of the steeplechase with a time of 11:34.93, which ranks 22
nd overall.
This wraps up Ouachita's season, with Nachtigal being the first Tiger in school history to compete in an NCAA Track & Field National Championship event. The junior from Rogers, Arkansas finishes the season as a two-time GAC Champion in the 3000m Steeplechase and will look to defend that title next year.
The Tigers will now turn their attention to the upcoming Cross Country season this fall.
