NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – The Ouachita men's and women's track & field teams have both earned All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, with six women earning individual All-Academic honors.
 
Both the men and the women's team ranked second at the NCAA Division II level and ranked first among members of the Great American Conference. The women posted a team GPA of 3.76, second in DII to only the University of Springfield with a GPA of 3.87. The men's GPA of 3.57 ranked only behind Florida Southern with a 3.62.
 
A total of six women earned All-Academic honors as individuals, this includes Izzi Breaux, Elise Knight, Belle Lindsey, Jaci McGregor, Katelynn Nachtigal, and Anna Woolsey. These student-athletes were selected based on the requirements of having at least a 3.25 GPA, a minimum of 24 completed hours, and a NCAA provisional mark posted this past season.
