DEFENDING CHAMPS PICKED THIRD IN PRESEASON POLL

RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – The Great American Conference released its preseason women's soccer coaches' poll for the 2025 season with the two-time defending champion Ouachita Tigers coming in at No. 3 with two of the seven first-place votes.

The Tigers, winners of the past two GAC tournament titles and winners of last season's regular season championship, return 16 letter winners from the 2024 squad that made it to the NCAA tournament for the third time in program history. Among the returners is all-region forward Reese Brown and all-conference midfielder Allison Reece.

Harding is the preseason favorite at No. 1 with four first-place vote. Southern Nazarene earned the other first-place nod and checks in at No. 2. Following Ouachita, in order, are Oklahoma Baptist, East Central, Southwestern Oklahoma State, and Northwestern Oklahoma State.

The 2025 season opens with a friendly at home against the University of the Ozarks on August 25. The first regular season game is set for August 30 on the road against Texas Woman's University.
